Year 1 had an exciting morning exploring the great outdoors as we went on an Autumn walk to observe the changes this beautiful season brings. Armed with their collection bags and curious minds, the children gathered a wonderful variety of autumn treasures to bring back to school. They'll be using these in the classroom for art, sorting, counting and lots of creative learning!
Using the colours of Autumn, each child decorated their own leaf and shared a way that we can show kindness to others. Our Kindness Tree that we created for World Mental Health Day is now blooming with positive thoughts and gentle reminders that a little kindness can make a big difference.
