This week some of our Nursery pupils enjoyed using a parachute outdoors.
Using a parachute helps develop children's gross motor skills and hand-eye co-ordination. It also helps to develop children's understanding of spatial awareness and their understanding of early mathematical concepts.
During this activity the children worked well together to follow instructions and most importantly, have fun!
We will look forward to using the parachute in lots of different ways throughout the year.
