Year 1 have had a great time exploring the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears this week. The children took part in hot seating, taking on the roles of the characters to build their confidence and talking and listening skills. The children carried out a fun science experiment with gummy bears, observing how they changed and grew when left in water. There was lots of excitement watching the bears expand! To top it all off, the class received a special letter from Goldilocks herself, asking them to make her some porridge. The children were delighted to write back and help her out. They even tasted it to make sure it wasn’t too sweet 😉
