Our Year 1's have had a very busy and creative week!
In Numeracy we have been investigating 2D shapes, spotting them in our environment and using them in our work. Linking to this, we looked at the colourful and inspiring artwork of Wassily Kandinsky, especially his use of circles. The children then created their own vibrant pictures, taking inspiration from his style and the results are fantastic!
Well done Year 1 for your amazing creativity and enthusiasm!
